Nothing Is Sound

I missed three days so this is me making up for it!  Pre-exam week and no tumblr for a day doesn’t exactly make consistency easy.

Day Fourteen: Your favorite Jon Foreman quote

My description for this blog actually bears my favorite Jon Foreman quote.  At their concert following the Batman Shooting in Aurora, CO the guys started to play Restless and before he began the song Jon asked:

“Are you restless?  Are you relentless?  Will you stop at nothing till you find your final resting place?” 

This question has burned inside of me ever since I heard it.  He’s asking how far you will go to seek God and urging you to never stop, keep searching for Him no matter what until you finally meet Him in heaven.  It’s a question we should always be concerned with.

Day Thirteen: Your favorite band photoshoot.

The winter photoshoot the guys did a while ago.  I love all their outfits and all of the photos turned out fantastic, especially the one of them with the snowman, the new sixth member ;)  Plus all us Switchfams got this great gif out of it.

Day Twelve: Your favorite Nothing is Sound song

Stars.  I’ve loved that song from the beginning because it’s so upbeat and honestly has the most incredible intro ever.  Plus the lyrics are very inspiring.  In short, it’s enough to pick you up on even your worst day :)

Day Eleven: Your favorite live DVD

I know this is a little precocious but it’s already Fading West.  I’m really looking forward to seeing them in Africa and getting an inside look at Jon’s song writing process.  It just sound so much more in-depth than the other DVDs like Live In San Diego where really it’s mostly them performing.  So my favorite is already Fading West and I’d be shocked if it changes.
